ASSOCIATION IS A MEMBER HOBBY ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC ASPECTS OF THE HOBBY OF MODEL ROCKETRY. THE ASSOCIATION JOINTLY SPONSORS THE TEAM AMERICA ROCKETRY CHALLENGE FOR PROMOTING SCIENTIFIC AND SPACE CAREERS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, ALONG WITH OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE THE HOBBY.
