IN ADDITION JOINING HEARTS & HANDS, LTD. EACH OF THESE STUDENTS LIVED IN IMPOVERISHED RURAL CONDTIONS, MANY ORPHANS WITH STRONG ACADEMIC PROMISE AND LITTLE FINANCIAL RESOURCES. FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS JOINING HEARTS & HANDS EXPANDED THE KENYA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM TO ADDITIONAL GEOGRAPHIC AREAS IN KENYA, SUCH AS KERICHO, SINDO AND AHERO. CLASSROOM CONSTRUCTION: MANG'ULIRO PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS: JOINING HEARTS AND HANDS, LTD. COMPLETED THE REHABILITATION OF A THREE- CLASSROOM BLOCK AT MANG'ULIRO PRIMARY SCHOOL IN MALAVA, KENYA. NOW MANY CHILDREN HAVE BETTER LEARNING CONDITIONS. IN ADDITION, AT NEARBY MANG'ULIRO SECONDARY SCHOOL - A NEW COMPUTER LAB WAS EQUIPPED WITH WORKING TABLETOP DESKS WITH ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, NEW CHAIRS AND PROPERLY SECURED 20 NEW LENOVO NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS WERE INSTALLED ALONG WITH TRAINING AND MAINTENANCE LESSONS. HIGH SCHOOL AND JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS HAVE CLASSES IN THIS NEW FACILITY. STUDENT SCHOOL BATHROOM CONSTRUCTION: JOINING HEARTS AND HANDS, LTD.
