CAF'S MANHATTAN STUDIO IS LOCATED AT 208 EAST 51ST STREET, 2ND FLOORJOIN THE ARTIST AT THE CAF STUDIO FOR A ONE-ON-ONE SHOWCASE AN ARRAY OF COLLAGED AND ASSEMBLED DRAWINGS AND PAINTINGS. THESE WILL BE COMPOSED OF DIFFERENT MATERIALS, SUCH AS DYED TEXTILES, HAND-MOLDED PAPER, HAND-DRAWN ELEMENTS, AND PAINTED FORMS. PER THE ARTIST, "WHEN COMBINED, THESE MATERIALS BECOME REDEFINED, AND CREATE A NEW SPACE FOR FORMS OF REPRESENTATION TO OPERATE. THE ONGOING RE-DEFINITION OF SPIRITUALITY AND IDENTITY IS SOMETHING MEMBERS OF THE CARIBBEAN NATIONALITIES AND DESCENT, LIKE MYSELF, MUST DO EACH DAY. STUDIO EXHIBITION: WILLIAM PEREZ'S TORN CANVASSMARCH 11 & 12, 18 & 19, 2022 DURING GALLERY HOURS AND BY APPOINTMENT ONLY IN THE INAUGURAL TORN CANVASS PROCESS, WILLIAM CREATED AN ORIGINAL RED DRAWING ON CANVASS (TORN CANVASS NO I) WHICH HE LATER CUT INTO 60 SEGMENTS.
