TO IMPROVE TREATMENT, QUALITY OF LIFE AND AND LONG-TERM OUTLOOK FOR CHILDREN WITH BRAIN AND SPINAL CORD TUMORS THROUGH GRANTS FOR RESEARCH AND SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY FOR FAMILIES AND SURVIVORS.

PROVIDED TRANSITION SUPPORT FROM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THROUGH COLLEGE AND CONTINUED THE ONLY CAREER PROGRAM FOR YOUNG ADULT BRAIN TUMOR SURVIVORS. HELD THE ONLY WEEK-LONG CONFERENCES (THREE) FOR BRAIN TUMOR SURVIVORS AND HELD THE ONLY FATHER/SURVIVOR RETREAT IN THE US. FUNDED A STAFF SOCIAL WORKER WHO PROVIDES PROGRAMS FOR BEREAVED FAMILIES. CONTINUED FUNDING OF THE CHILDREN'S BRAIN TUMOR TISSUE CONSORTIUM-AN INTERNATIONAL, MULTI-INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH PROGRAM DEDICATED TO THE STUDY AND TREATMENT OF CHILDHOOD BRAIN TUMORS.
