MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL CHARITIES INC. PROVIDES GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPPORT A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL, HEALTH, & RECREATIONAL CAUSES. MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL CHARITIES PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO FUND YOUTH GAME DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, SUCH AS THE RBI PROGRAM. THE RBI PROGRAM IS A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM TARGETED AT INNER-CITY, URBAN, AND AT-RISK YOUTH. MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL CHARITIES ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS TO INNER CITY, URBAN, AND AT-RISK YOUTHS. MLB CHARITIES INC. MAKES GRANTS AND PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO NATIONAL, REGIONAL AND LOCAL AMATEUR SPORTS ORGANIZATIONS THAT ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP AMATEUR ATHLETES FOR NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION IN AMATEUR BASEBALL AND OR AMATEUR SPORTS.
