TO PROVIDE AN EDUCATIONAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN OF REGISTERED DEGREE STUDENTS AT HERBERT H. LEHMAN COLLEGE.

THE ORGANIZATION IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING CHILDCARE SERVICES PRIMARILY TO THE CHILDREN OF STUDENTS PARENTS ATTENDING LEHMAN COLLEGE. SPACES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR FACULTY/STAFF NOT TO EXCEED 10% OF CURRENT ENROLLMENT OR DISPLACE A STUDENT PARENT AT ANY TIME. THE CENTER SERVES CHILDREN AGES 2-5 IN THE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM AND CHILDREN 5-12 IN THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM. THE CENTER WAS OPEN 218 DAYS IN THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2024 AND SERVED APPROXIMATELY 68 CHILDREN. THE CENTER HAS THE CAPACITY TO SERVE UP TO 110 PRESCHOOLS AND 20 AFTERSCHOOLS (FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT) AT A GIVEN TIME. THE HOURS OF OPERATION DURING THE FALL AND SPRING TERMS ARE FROM 7:30 AM TO 9:30 PM. PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE FROM 7:30AM TO 5:30PM AND AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE FROM 3:30PM TO 9:30PM.
