YOUTH AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS - UAU SERVES THE COMMUNITY AND ITS YOUTH THROUGH VARIOUS FAMILY SERVICES, DRUG PREVENTION PROGRAMS, AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND SUMMER CAMP, NIGHT CENTERS, AND COMMUNITY CENTERS.


SYEP PROGRAM - THE SUMMER YOUTH EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM (SYEP), FUNDED BY DYCD, IS A SIX-WEEK JOB PROGRAM THAT ALLOWS YOUTH TO GAIN ENTRY-LEVEL JOB EXPERIENCE FOR GAINING LEVERAGE IN THE WORKFORCE.


WIOA PROGRAM - IN SCHOOL YOUTH (ISY) AND OUT OF SCHOOL YOUTH (OSY) WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT (WIOA) PROGRAMS PROVIDE YOUTH WITH TRAINING, EDUCATION GUIDANCE, WORK READINESS SKILLS AND DEVELOPMENT, INTERNSHIPS, AND JOBS UPON PROGRAM COMPLETION.
