BISG PERIODICALLY HOSTS CONFERENCES AND EVENTS THAT PRESENT INFORMATION ABOUT TRENDS IN THE BOOK PUBLISHING BUSINESS. THESE INCLUDE FORUMS AT WHICH RELEVANT ISSUES ARE DISCUSSED.
BISG ORGANIZES VOLUNTEERS TO ASSESS ISSUES, UPDATE PRODUCTS AND MAINTAIN BEST PRACTICES. THE RESULTS OF THESE EFFORTS ARE PROVIDED TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS VIA THE ORGANIZATION'S WEBSITE. A FEE IS CHARGED FOR SOME PRODUCTS.
