DURING THE 2019 YEAR, THE COMMITTEE SPONSORED AND/OR ORGANIZED EXCHANGES BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA ENABLING EXPERTS IN SPECIFIC FIELDS TO INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER; OBSERVATION/STUDY TRIPS; PUBLIC PROGRAMS WITH AUDIENCES RANGING IN SIZE FROM 20 TO SEVERAL HUNDRED; TRACK II DIALOGUES ON CRITICAL ISSUES (SECURITY, MARITIME LAW, ECONOMICS)IN THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE TWO COUNTRIES; AND CONFERENCES ON CUTTING EDGE ISSUES.
