TO RAISE FUNDS IN THE UNITED STATES TO SUPPORT ITS OPERATIONS IN ISRAEL. THE MAIN OPERATION IS SOCIAL WELFARE EDUCATION, AND MAINTENANCE OF HOMES IN TEL AVIV AND IN NETANYA.

AT ITS FACILITY IN TEL AVIV, WOMEN'S LEAGUE FOR ISRAEL INC (WLI) PROVIDES A HOME FOR NEEDY YOUTH AND TO ENCOURAGE ALIYAH TO ISRAEL HAND IN HAND WITH THE JEWISH AGENCY AND ITS AFFILIATES AND PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR TEACHING HEBREW (ULPAN). OUR COMPOUND IN TEL AVIV ALSO SERVES THE MUNICIPALITY'S FAMILY THERAPY CENTER TO COUNSEL TROUBLED FAMILIES, AND A MEETING PLACE FOR DIVORCED PARENTS AND CHILDREN. WLI CONTINUES ITS LONG TIME ASSOCIATION WITH THE HEBREW UNIVERSITY IN JERUSALEM BY CONTINUING ITS ESTABLISHED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR NEEDY STUDENTS. WLI ALSO SUPPORTED THE RAMBAM MEDICAL CENTER IN HAIFA, BY MEANS OF A SUBSTANTIAL DONATION THROUGH AMERICAN FRIENDS OF RAMBAM TO ESTABLISH THE PEDIATRIC POST TRAUMATIC SYNDROME TREATMENT AND THE TREATMENT OF PHYSICALLY AND SEXUALLY ABUSED CHILDREN UNIT.
