THE MISSION OF FRENCH AMERICAN AID FOR CHILDREN, INC. IS TO CREATE BRIGHTER AND MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURES FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN THE UNITED STATES AND FRANCE THROUGH VETTED PROJECTS.

WE INVITED OUR GRANTEES TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL FOR THE 2021 FUNDING CYCLE TO ADDRESS THE LONG-TERM SIDE EFFECTS OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON CHILDREN'S HEALTH, SUCH AS EMOTIONAL DISTRESS AND LACK OF ACCESS TO PROPER NUTRITION. IN 2021, WE WERE ABLE TO ORGANIZE ONE SITE-VISIT TO GRANTEES AND INITIATED OUR OWN FREE EDUCATIVE CHILD HEALTH WEBINAR SERIES.THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO GROUPS DEDICATED TO SERVING UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN THE U.S.A. & FRANCE. IN 2021, 10 ORGANIZATIONS WERE SELECTED AFTER DUE-DILIGENCE TO RECEIVE FUNDING, THROUGH EDUCATIONAL, MEDICAL OR PREVENTION OF SOCIAL ABUSE PROGRAMS.
