(TCDC) WORKS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY OF EAST FLATBUSH TO GRANT SERVICES, IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS AND PROVIDE RESOURCES THAT WILL UPLIFT, EMPOWER MOTIVATE AND EQUIP INDIVIDUALS.

PROVIDE WORKSHOPS, SEMINARS AND ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS AND FAMILIES SEEKING ASSISTANCE TO HELP DOMESTIC VIOLENCE VICTIMS WITHIN THEIR COMMUNITIES.
TCDC HAS CONTINUED TO ADD UNIQUE SERVICES WITHIN THE EAST FLATBUSH COMMUNITY. AS AN EXTENSION OF WORKING WITH SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, TCDC HAS CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SAFE SPACES FOR MEMBERS TO RE-ENGAGE IN LIFE IN A HEALTHY MANNER VIA EXCERCISE, DANCE AND UPLIFTING ACTIVITIES. THIS ALLOWS VICTIMS TO BE ABLE TO SPREAD AWARENESS AND OPEN UP ABOUT THEIR SUCCESSES AND RECOVERY PROCESS. TCDC HAS CONTINUED TO AVERAGE 30 INDIVIDUALS PER SESSION BEING OFFERED 4 TIMES A YEAR IN 8 WEEK INTERVALS. SESSIONS ARE OFFERED FREE TO THE COMMUNITY.
TCDC OFFERS A TUTORING PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN WITHIN THE EAST FLATBUSH COMMUNITY. AFTER SCHOOL, CHILDREN ARE PROVIDED A SAFE SPACE TO TAKES THEIR STUDIES TO THE NEXT LEVEL BY HAVING A TUTOR AVAILABLE TO THEM.
