TO PROMOTE THE GERMAN COMMUNITY AND THE FURTHERING OF GERMAN CULTURE, HERITAGE, LANGUAGE, HISTORY, ARTS, AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES.TO PROVIDE THE PHYSICAL FACILITIES TO CONDUCT GERMAN FESTIVALS, ENTERTAINMENTS, TEACHING, FUND RAISING, AND OTHER EFFORTS FOR THE PVV, THE GERMAN COMMUNITY, AND THE MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS.TO PROVIDE THE PHYSICAL FACILITIES FOR EVENTS HOSTED BY OTHER CULTURAL, CHARITABLE AND CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS. TO SUPPORT THE MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS OF THE PVV IN THEIR OWN ACTIVITIES, AND PROVIDE A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE GERMAN COMMUNITY CENTER FOR ALL.TO MAKE SUCH CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS AND SUPPORT SUCH ACTIVITIES THAT SHALL FURTHER THE CHARITABLE PURPOSE OF THE PVV.

RUN THE KRISTKINDL MARKET WHICH IS AN ANNUAL WEEKEND LONG CHRISTMAS FAIR THAT MIRRORS THE WORLD FAMOUS KRISTKINDL MARKETS HELD IN BOTH GERMANY AND AUSTRIA. THE KRISTKINDL MARKET CELEBRATES GERMAN HERITAGE BY OFFERING GERMAN IMPORT ITEMS, FOOD, MUSIC AND TRADITIONS.


AWARD A GERMAN LANGUAGE SCHOLARSHIP TO A HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR WHO HAS STUDIED THE GERMAN LANGUAGE DURING THE COURSE OF HIS/HER HIGH SCHOOL CAREER. THE SCHOLARSHIP'S AIM IS TO ENCOURAGE THE STUDY OF GERMAN HERITAGE, CULTURE, AND LANGUAGE AMONG THE YOUNGER GENERATION.


RUN THE ANNUAL VOLKSFEST WHICH IS A WEEKEND LONG SUMMER FESTIVAL CELEBRATING GERMAN HERITAGE VIA GERMAN MUSIC, DANCING, FOOD, GAMES AND CUSTOMS.


SPONSOR A FLOAT IN THE GERMAN-AMERICAN STEUBEN PARADE WHICH IS HELD ANNUALLY ON THE THIRD SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER. THE PARADE WAS FOUNDED IN 1957 BY GERMAN IMMIGRANTS AND GERMAN-AMERICANS ONE OF THE LARGEST ANCESTRAL GROUPS LIVING IN THE UNITED STATES, WHO WANTED TO KEEP THE TRADITIONS OF THEIR HOMELAND ALIVE. THEY NAMED THE PARADE AFTER FRIEDRICH WILHELM VON STEUBEN, A PRUSSIAN-BORN GENERAL WHO SERVED WITH GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON IN THE AMERICAN REVOLUTIONARY WAR. VON STEUBEN IS STILL REGARDED AS ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL GERMANS FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO AMERICA'S FIGHT FOR INDEPENDENCE; HIS TRAINING OF THE YOUNG AMERICAN TROOPS HELPED ACHIEVE VICTORY AGAINST THE BRITISH.
