Part 3 - Line 4a

INSTRUCTION, ACADEMIC SUPPORT, AND INSTITUTIONAL SUPPORT THE UNIVERSITY OFFERS BOTH CREDIT AND NONCREDIT COURSES FOR ACADEMIC AND VOCATIONAL INSTRUCTION. THE UNIVERSITY OFFERS 372 DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS TO OVER 17,600 STUDENTS, AND EMPLOYS 502 FULL-TIME FACULTY OVER FIVE CAMPUSES. ACTIVITIES IN THIS CATEGORY ALSO INCLUDE SUPPORT SERVICES SUCH AS LIBRARIES, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA SERVICES, ACADEMIC COMPUTING SUPPORT, AND ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION.


STUDENT SERVICES AND AUXILIARY ENTERPRISES - REPRESENTS THE ACTIVITIES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO STUDENTS' EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING AND INTELLECTUAL, CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OUTSIDE THE CONTEXT OF THE FORMAL INSTRUCTION PROGRAM. ACTIVITIES IN THIS CATEGORY INCLUDE EXPENSES FOR RESIDENCE HALLS, STUDENT ACTIVITIES, CULTURAL EVENTS, STUDENT NEWSPAPERS, INTRAMURAL ATHLETICS, STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS, INTERCOLLEGIATE ATHLETICS, COUNSELING AND CAREER GUIDANCE, STUDENT AID ADMINISTRATION AND STUDENT HEALTH SERVICE.
