EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE - PROVIDES EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF WETHERSFIELD WHEN REQUESTED BY AN AUTHORIZED INDIVIDUAL WITHIN THE WETHERSFIELD POLICE OR FIRE DIVISION. EMERGENCY AND NON-EMERGENCY STANDBY SERVICE IS ALSO PROVIDED WHENEVER REQUIRED BY THE TOWN OF WETHERSFIELD. THERE WERE APPROXIMATELY 6,500 CALLS FOR SERVICE DURING THE YEAR.
TRAINING CENTER - PROVIDES ANNUAL BASIC, ADVANCED AND REFRESHER TRAINING COURSES FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS. CPR AND AED CERTIFICATION COURSES ARE ALSO PROVIDED ANNUALLY.
