THE ORGANIZATION'S FLAGSHIP ANNUAL EVENT IS MAHA FESTIVAL, WHICH HIGHLIGHTS THE BEST OF OUR CITY AND MOBILIZES OUR COMMUNITY BY BRINGING IN NATIONAL MUSIC TALENT AND PROVIDING A PLATFORM FOR LOCAL MUSICIANS TO PERFORM, ENGAGING WITH DOZENS OF LOCAL PROGRAMMING PARTNERS, ATTRACTING THOUSANDS OF INDIVIDUALS TO VOLUNTEER EACH YEAR, AND OFFERING FREE ADMISSION TO CHILDREN AGES 10 AND YOUNGER. MAHA IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING AN ACCESSIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL, AND TO ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY WITH A PLEDGE TO DIVERT 90% OF ON-SITE WASTE FROM THE LANDFILL. 11,500 ATTENDED AND 850 VOLUNTEERED AT THE EVENT IN THE CENTER OF OMAHA ON JULY 29 & 30, 2022.
