NPN IS COMMITTED TO SHARING ITS RESOURCES WITH ITS REGION, PARTICULARLY SMALLER ARTS ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS, THROUGH ITS LOCAL PROGRAM. DIRECT SUPPORT IS AVAILABLE THROUGH A NETWORK OF PARTICIPATING PROJECTS AND FISCAL SPONSORSHIP AND TWO GRANTING PROGRAMS - SOUTHERN ARTISTS FOR SOCIAL CHANGE AND THE TAKE NOTICE FUND
THE CREATION & DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SUPPORTS THE CREATION, DEVELOPMENT AND TOURING OF NEW ARTISTIC PROJECTS AROUND THE U.S. THE PROGRAM ALLOWS RELATIONSHIPS AMONG DIVERSE ARTISTS, PRESENTERS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO DEVELOP OVER TIME.
LEVERAGING A NETWORK FOR EQUITY (LANE) IS AN INITIATIVE DESIGNED TO RECOGNIZE AND REMEDIATE THE HISTORICAL INEQUITIES IN SUPPORT FOR ARTS ORGANIZATIONS OF COLOR AND RURAL ORGANIZATIONS. PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS ARE ENGAGED IN A MULTI-YEAR PROCESS THAT INCLUDES ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT, FINANCIAL CAPITAL, CONVENINGS, AND INTENTIONAL PEER LEARNING.
