THE ELM SHAKESPEARE COMPANY IS A MULTI-CULTURAL THEATRE COMPANY COMMITTED TO ESTABLISHING A DISCOURSE WITH THE NEW HAVEN COMMUNITY THROUGH THE MEDIUM OF SHAKESPEARE'S PLAYS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES, IN COLLABORATION WITH SCHOOLS AND OTHER COMMUNITY PARTNERS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS BASED ON THE WORKS OF SHAKESPEARE. THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO DEVELOP THE STUDENTS' LINGUISTIC, COMMUNICATIVE, AND COLLABORATIVE TALENTS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PRESENTS THEATRE PRODUCTIONS FREE TO THE PUBLIC EACH SUMMER IN A PUBLIC PARK IN NEW HAVEN. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZAITON PRESENTS OTHER PERFORMANCES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IN ALTERNATE SPACES.
