THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTED FIFTY-TWO SCHOLARSHIPS OF 1,000 EACH TO COLLEGE BOUND SCHOLAR ATHLETES. THE SELECTION PROCESS IS AS FOLLOWS: 1. INTERESTED STUDENT ATHLETES SUBMIT AN APPLICATION WITH OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM PERSONS OF ATHLETIC INFLUENCE. 2. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS ARE SELECTED BY AN AWARDS COMMITTEE BASED ON THE APPLICANTS TRANSCRIPT AND TRANSCRIPT DATA. 3. APPLICANTS SELECTED MAY PARTICIPATE IN A PERSONAL INTERVIEW WITH THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE. EACH YEAR FIVE INDIVIDUALS ARE SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE AWARDS COMMITTEE TO SINGLY AND COLLECTIVELY CHOOSE THE TOP TWENTY PERCENT OF APPLICANTS. THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE THEN SELECTS THE FINAL NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO BE AWARDED THAT YEAR.
