MAINTENANCE OF FIRST PERIOD HISTORIC NATIONAL REGISTER LISTED HOUSE/MUSEUM; PRESERVATION OF RECORDS, PHOTOS, ARTIFACTS, ETC. RELATING TO THE HISTORY OF SWAMPSCOTT; EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR MEMBERS AND RESIDENTS.

HOUSE AND GROUNDS $33,193, INSURANCE $3037, AND OCCUPANCY $5091 BENEFITS ALL OF OUR MEMBERS, THE TOWN OF SWAMPSCOTT AND ITS RESIDENTS BY PRESERVING AND MAINTAINING OUR FIRST PERIOD HOUSE/MUSEUM AND ITS UNIQUE COLLECTION AND ITS UNIQUE COLLECTION FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. HOUSE AND GROUNDS EXPENSES WILL BE EXTRA LARGE THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR BECAUSE OF A HUGE TREE THAT FELL ON OUR HISTORIC HOUSE THAT RESULTED IN SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE OF OUR BUILDING.
MEMBERS, NEWSLETTERS, AND MEETINGS BENEFITS ALL OF OUR MEMBERS AND SOME OF THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWN WHO AREN'T MEMBERS BUT ATTEND OUR MEETINGS AND HELP THE SWAMPSCOTT HISTORICAL SOCIETY, INC. TO KEEP FULLFILLING ITS MANY GOALS AND OBJECTIVES.
