WAS FORMED TO PERSERVE COVERED BRIDGES, TO GATHER AND RECORD KNOWLEDGE OF THE HISTORY OF COVERED BRIDGES, TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE PICTURES, PRINTED AND MANUSCRIPT MATTER AND OTHER ARTICLES OF HISTORICAL INTEREST CONCERNING COVERED BRIDGES AND TO DO ALL THINGS, ALONE OR IN COOPERATION WITH OTHER PERSONS OR CORPORATIONS, NECESSARY OR ADVISABLE TO CARRY OUT ANY AND ALL OF THE FOREGOING PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES.

THE HAROLD EASTMAN MEMORIAL FUND EXPENSES FOR THE ASSISTANCE IN THE BUILDING, REPAIRING OR RESTORING OF WOODEN COVERED BRIDGES.


THE EDWARD THOMAS MEMORIAL ARCHIVES FUND EXPENSES FOR THE PROPER PRESERVATION OF MATERIALS AND ARTIFACTS COLLECTED BY THE SOCIETY FOR ITS ARCHIVES.
