TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN AND RESTORE A HISTORICAL SITE FOR PUBLIC USE AND EDUCATION. THE ASSOCIATION EXPLORES THE MEANINGS OF FREEDOM AND INDEPENDENCE BEFORE, DURING AND SINCE THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION, IN CONTEXT OF A HOUSEHOLD OF WEALTHY LOYALISTS AND ENSLAVED AFRICANS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TO PRESERVE, MAINTAIN AND RESTORE A HISTORICAL SITE FOR PUBLIC USE AND EDUCATION. AS WE EMERGED FROM OUR PANDEMIC SITE CLOSURE IN 2020, THE ROYALL HOUSE AND SLAVE QUARTERS WELCOMED MORE THAN 900 VISITORS TO THE MUSEUM FOR TOURS IN 2021 AND AN ADDITIONAL 105 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS. WE PRESENTED SEVERAL PUBLIC PROGRAMS ONLINE WHICH SERVED MORE THAN 2,100 PEOPLE. OUR STAFF ALSO PRESENTED LECTURES OUTSIDE THE MUSEUM WHICH ENGAGED ANOTHER 510 PEOPLE. AT MARCH 31, 2022, THE ROYALL HOUSE ASSOCIATION HAD 190 PAID MEMBERSHIPS, INDICATING A MEMBERSHIP OF APPROXIMATELY 285 INDIVIDUALS.
