THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT CLAIMS PROFESSIONALS (AAICP) IS AN ASSOCIATION OF INDEPENDENT INSURANCE CLAIMS ADJUSTERS AND THIRD-PARTY INSURANCE CLAIMS ADMINISTRATION COMPANIES THAT SERVICE CLAIMS FOR INSURANCE CARRIERS, SELF-INSURED BUSINESSES, AND NON-PROFIT AND GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES. ITS MEMBERS HANDLE MILLIONS OF WORKERS' COMPENSATION, DISABILITY, PROPERTY AND LIABILITY CLAIMS ANNUALLY. THESE CLAIMS REPRESENT BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OF PAYMENTS EACH YEAR THAT ENABLE FAMILIES TO REBUILD HOMES, PAY BILLS, SUPPORT EMPLOYERS IN THE CONTINUATION OF OPERATIONS AFTER DISASTERS AND PROTECT BUSINESSES AGAINST FINANCIAL RISK.
