THE DELAWARE FOOD INDUSTRY COUNCIL, A NONPROFIT DELAWARE CORPORATION, IS THE ONLY STATEWIDE GOVERNMENT RELATIONS ORGANIZATION DEDICATED SOLELY TO INTERESTS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY. ITS MEMBERSHIP IS COMPRISED OF LARGE AND SMALL FOOD INDUSTRY RETAILERS, CONVENIENCE STORES, FOOD MANUFACTURERS AND SUPPLIERS.

THE ORGANIZATION KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED OF REGULATIONS THAT AFFECT THEIR OPERATIONS TIMELY; DISCUSSES THE IMPACT AND IMPLEMETATION OF THE REGULATIONS; AND PROVIDES ITS MEMBERS WITH OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET AND NETWORK WITH LEGISLATORS DURING THE YEAR TO DISCUSS THE REGULATIONS. DFIC PROMOTES OPEN COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION AROUND THE LEGISLATION AS IT AFFECTS THE FOOD INDUSTRY.
