FUNDED CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE RESIDENCES, EACH DESIGNED WITH APARTMENTS FOR TWO FAMILIES TO LIVE IN, FOR TEACHERS NEAR HAYMU PRIMARY SCHOOL, AND FOR HEALTH CARE WORKERS NEAR THE SUKENYA DISPENSARY. CONSTRUCTION OF A DORMITORY TO HOUSE 80 GIRLS AT THE SOIT SAMBU SECONDARY SCHOOL.


FUNDED CONSTRUCTION OF A DORMITORY TO HOUSE ROBANDA SECONDARY SCHOOL GIRLS, KITCHEN AS THE FIRST PART OF AN EXPANSION SCHOOL IN ORKUYENE, WHICH WILL ALSO INCLUDE A DINING HALL, DORMITORY, BOREHOLE, AND TEACHERS HOUSING, AND CONSTRUCTION OF A BUILDING TO HOUSE THREE CLASSROOMS IN MONDOROSI.


FUNDED TRAINING SESSIONS FOR COCOBA WOMENS SAVINGS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS TO TEACH MAASAI WOMEN TO OPEN SMALL, ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BUSINESSES AND TO TEACH THEM BASIC BOOKKEEPING AND BUSINESS SKILLS. TRAINING PROGRAMS CONSISTED OF A RANGE OF ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING LESSONS IN MAKING BEADED JEWELRY, LEATHER TANNING, BEEKEEPING, AND PLANTING SEEDLINGS, ALONG WITH BUSINESS MENTORING AND COACHING. COCOBA FUNDING HAS ALSO BEEN ALLOCATED TO BUYING TOOLS AND MACHINES TO ASSIST THE WOMEN IN CREATING AND MARKETING THEIR PRODUCTS, AS WELL AS STRATEGIC PLANNING, CONSERVATION MEETING, AND EVALUATION STUDY OF PROGRAMS. $41,822
