NSC HELPS HOMEOWNERS AND HOMEBUYERS, WHO ARE PRIMARILY LOW TO MODERATE INCOME OR FROM LOW TO MODERATE INCOME COMMUNITIES, BY PROVIDING EXTENSIVE COUNSELING FOR HOMEBUYERS AND HOMEOWNERS WITH AN UNAFFORDABLE MORTGAGE. SERVICES INCLUDE COMPREHENSIVE COUNSELING, BUDGETING, AND OTHER PRE- PURCHASE AND POST-PURCHASE ASSISTANCE. NSC ALSO SERVES TO PROMOTE NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION INITIATIVES AND ACTIVITIES RELATED TO FAIR LENDING AS WELL AS ADDRESSING OTHER ISSUES OF ECONOMIC JUSTICE AND FINANCIAL EXPLOITATION OF PRIMARILY LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES.
