DNI COMMUNITY LAND TRUST CONTINUES TO BUILD OUR COMMUNITY AND PROMOTE DEVELOPMENT WITHOUT DISPLACEMENT. DNI HAS TAKEN STEPS TO COMMUNICATE WITH 95 HOMEOWNERS ON THE LAND TRUST AND THE 77 RESIDENTS OF THE COOPERATIVE HOUSING AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE SUPPORT SURROUNDING FORECLOSURE PREVENTION, FINANCING, AND HOME REPAIRS. DNI CONTINUES TO PROMOTE AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND LONG-TERM STEWARDSHIP OF THE LAND IN THE DUDLEY NEIGHBORHOOD. DNI HAS LED THE PROCESS TO AQUIRE THE REMAINING CITY-OWNED BLIGHTED, VACANT LAND IN THE DUDLEY TRIANGLE AND HAS BEGAN THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING THE PRODUCTIVE USES FOR THOSE SITES. DNI IS ALSO PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN EXPLORING THE COMMUNITY LAND TRUST MODEL.
