IN FY 24, LISS FAIN DANCE FOCUSED THEIR ACTIVITIES ON OUTREACH WORKSHOPS AT 826 VALENCIA, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION SUPPORTING AND TEACHING CREATIVITY AND WRITING TO YOUNG STUDENTS. THE OUTREACH PROGRAM WITH 826 VALENCIA, WHICH MS. FAIN DESIGNED AND DEVELOPED, HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE 2011. THE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS CREATE MOVEMENT, INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLABORATIVELY, TO THE TEXTS THEY WRITE FROM PROMPTS. THE WORKSHOPS DEVELOP WRITING AND MOVEMENT SKILLS; THEY DEMONSTRATE HOW LANGUAGE AND WORDS HAVE RHYTHM. THIS PROGRAM IS TAUGHT ON A VOLUNTEER BASIS; THE COST TO LISS FAIN DANCE IS COVERED THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS.THE FY23/24 EXPENSES THE COMPANY HAD WERE FOR PERFORMANCES IN FY24/25. REHEARSALS BEGAN AT THE END OF FY23/24, AND SOME EXPENSES WERE INCURRED.
