SAFE PASSAGE IS DEDICATED TO CREATING A WORLD FREE OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND RELATIONSHIP ABUSE. WE SUPPORT SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES, ENGAGE OUR COMMUNITY, AND ADVOCATE FOR SYSTEMIC CHANGE.

PROVIDED SHELTER FOR 22 SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND THEIRCHILDREN. PROVIDED ADVOCACY, SUPPORT, MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT ANDSUPPORT GROUPS, ALONG WITH BASIC NEEDS.


PROVIDED COUNSELING, ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT GROUPS, ALONG WITH 40-HOUR HELPLINE FOR INTAKE, REFERRALS, AND EMOTIONAL AND CRISIS SUPPORT TO SURVIVORS. RECEIVED 2,935 CALLS AND PROVIDED FACE-TO-FACE COUNSELING AND ADVOCACY BY REMOTE VIDEO AND IN-PERSON TO 1,235 INDIVIDUALS. COUNSELING PROVIDED INCLUDED SPECIALIZED COUNSELING FOR LATINX SURVIVORS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, CHILDREN, LGBTQ COMMUNITIES, AND PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.


COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, INCLUDING VOLUNTEER COORDINATION AND PREVENTION EDUCATION, AND COORDINATION OF OUTREACH EFFORTS. PROVIDED TRAINING TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS ON BYSTANDER SKILLS FOR PREVENTION. PROVIDED RECRUITMENT, TRAINING, AND ONGOING SUPERVISION TO APPROXIMATELY 60 VOLUNTEERS AND INTERNS. THROUGH A COLLABORATION WITH A LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL, PROVIDED PREVENTION EDUCATION TO TEENS.
