THE MISSION OF LIFE RESOURCES INC. IS TO SERVE ADOLESCENTS AND THEIR FAMILES WHO ARE AT RISK OF/OR EXPERIENCING CRISIS IN THEIR LIVES. SUBSTANTIAL PROTION OF THE ORGANIZATION'S REVENUE IS FROM ITS CONTRACTS WITH THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS. DUE TO THE SUBSTANTIAL DECLINE IN CONTRACTS FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTED TO CLOSE ALL PROGRAMS EFFECTIVE JUNE 30, 2014. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS STILL IN THE PROCESS OF DISSOLVING THE ORGANIZATION, INCLUDING THE SALE OF REAL ESTATE AND TRANSFER OF ASSETS TO OTHER NON-PROFIT AGENCIES.
