THE PRESERVATION AND EXHIBITION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS, ARTWORK, ARTIFACTS, DOCUMENTS, FURNITURE AND PHOTOGRAPHS RELEVANT TO THE AREA THROUGH OPERATION OF THE CUSHING HOUSE MUSEUM. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH LECTURES, EXHIBITS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SCHOOL TOURS, PUBLICATIONS, A RESEARCH LIBRARY, AND THROUGH COOPERATION WITH ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN LOCAL HISTORY.
