ASSISTS VERMONT'S 14 NATURAL RESOURCES CONSERVATION DISTRICTS (NRCDS)TO CARRY OUT PROGRAMS THAT WORK WITH LANDOWNERS, RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITIES TO PROTECT VERMONT'S SOIL, WATER, FORESTS, WILDLIFE AND OTHER NATURAL RESOURCES. THE 14 NRCDS PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THAT LINK VERMONTERS WITH APPROPRIATE STATE AND FEDERAL PROGRAMS AND PRIVATE SOURCES OF FUNDING THAT HELP THEM MEET THEIR NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT OBJECTIVES.
