COMMUNITY HOUSE, INC. IS LOCATED IN BRATTLEBORO, VERMONT AND WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSES OF PROVIDING REHABILITATIVE SERVICES TO THE PEOPLE OF WINDHAM COUNTY AND ELSEWHERE. COMMUNITY HOUSE CURRENTLY OFFERS A SHORT-TERM RESIDENTIAL ASSESSMENT PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN 6-12 YEARS OF AGE, AN INDEPENDENT AND SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL FOR GRADES K-8 AND A SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AGES 5-13.

DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2021, COMMUNITY HOUSE, INC. PROVIDED SHORT-TERM SERVICES FOR 15 CHILDREN WITH SIGNIFICANT SOCIAL, EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL NEEDS WHO WERE REFERRED BY THE STATE OF VERMONT FOR STABILIZATION AND ASSESSMENT PURPOSES. THESE CHILDREN ARE SOME OF THE MOST NEEDY CHILDREN IN VERMONT. IN ADDITION, COMMUNITY HOUSE, INC. PROVIDED EDUCATIONAL DAY SCHOOL TO 31 CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS REFERRED BY LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS.
