VETERANS ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS - WE MAINTAIN A SERVICE OFFICE AT THE VA HOSPITAL CENTER LOCATED IN WHITE RIVER JCT. VERMONT TO ASSIST VETERANS FILING CLAIMS FOR BENEFITS AND SOLVE PROBLEMS FOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES.


GREEN MOUNTAIN BOYS STATE - THE AMERICAN LEGION, DEPARTMENT OF VERMONT, IS SPONSORING BOYS' STATE TO ASSIST IN THE EDUCATION OF OUR YOUTH IN THE DUTIES, PRIVILEGES, RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP; TO INCULCATE A SENSE OF INDIVIDUAL OBLIGATION TO COMMUNITY, STATE AND NATION; AND TO TEACH THE FUNDAMENTAL PRECEPTS OF GOVERNMENT.
