PURPOSE: $500 IN SUPPORT OF "LEARNING FROM THE LAND: A DECOLONIAL NATURAL HISTORY OF THE SEACOAST," A COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION PROJECT THAT WILL CULMINATE IN DIGITAL AND PRINTED VERSIONS OF A BOOKLET EXPLORING THE HISTORY AND INTERRELATIONSHIPS AMONG THE PEOPLE, PLANTS, AND ANIMALS THAT SHARE THE NEW HAMPSHIRE SEACOAST REGION. GUIDED BY COMMUNITY AND INDIGENOUS PERSPECTIVES, THE RESULTING PUBLICATION WILL BE AVAILABLE AS CURRICULUM FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS AS WELL AS THROUGH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING THE INDIGENOUS NEW HAMPSHIRE COLLABORATIVE COLLECTIVE, THE BLACK HERITAGE TRAIL, THE SEACOAST SCIENCE CENTER, AND WRONG BRAIN DOVER.
