THE HOUSTON MARATHON FOUNDATION PROVIDES COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR ORGANIZATIONS ENCOURAGING HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS. WE SUPPORT PEOPLE, PROJECTS, AND IDEAS THAT PROMOTE AN UNDERSTANDING OF, ACCESS TO, AND PARTICIPATION IN RUNNING AS PART OF A PHYSICAL FITNESS REGIMEN. WE ALSO PROVIDE GRANTS FOR INNOVATIVE THINKING AND RESEARCH IN CREATING RUNNING-RELATED PROGRAMS.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR ATHLETES WITH DISABILITIES - THE HOUSTON MARATHON FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO MAKING RUNNING ACCESSIBLE TO ATHLETES OF ALL ABILITIES FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO PARTICIPATE IN RACES AND OTHER PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES.
