THE ALLIANCE OF THE SOUTHEAST (ASE) BUILDS THE CAPACITY OF LEADERS, ORGANIZERS, AND ASSOCIATIONS THAT CARRY OUT COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL CHANGE. WE ENVISION A POWERFUL GRASSROOTS BASE THAT IMPACTS DECISION MAKERS AND WINS REAL IMPROVEMENTS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOODS.ASE IS A MULTICULTURAL, INTERFAITH COALITION OF CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, BUSINESSES, AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS, ALL WORKING TOGETHER TO ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES FACING THE NEIGHBORHOODS OF SOUTHEAST CHICAGO.

COMMUNITY ORGANIZING & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT: COALITION OF LOCAL ENTITIES WORKING TOGETHER TO ADDRESS THE CHALLENGES FACING SOUTHEAST CHICAGO. BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF LEADERS, ORGANIZERS, AND ASSOCIATIONS THAT CARRY OUT COMMUNITY AND SOCIAL CHANGE.INCLUDES CAMPAIGNS TO PROMOTE LOCAL JOB OPPORTUNITIES, TRAINING, EDUCATION, AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, TENANT ORGANIZING, AND A YOUTH LEADERSHIP COUNCIL AND ACTIVITIES TO PROMOTE NON-VIOLENCE, HEALTH, AND SAFETY.
