THE MISSION OF PORTSMOUTH CHRISTIAN ACADEMY (PCA) IS TO HONOR GOD JOYFULLY BY INSPIRING STUDENTS TO MAXIMIZE THEIR GOD-GIVEN POTENTIAL. PCA IS A PRE-K THROUGH GRADE 12 DAY SCHOOL THAT EDUCATES AND INSPIRES OVER 635 STUDENTS FROM FAMILIES WHO HAIL FROM THREE STATES AND SEVERAL COUNTRIES. PCA IS THE LARGEST PRIVATE INDEPENDENT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN NEW ENGLAND. PCA'S PROGRAM BRINGS ACADEMIC RIGOR, SOUND ETHICS, AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT TOGETHER TO ESTABLISH YOUNG MEN AND WOMEN OF CHARACTER AND COMMITMENT TO LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE IN THE NEXT STEP OF THEIR EMERGING CALLINGS: AT THEIR COLLEGE, IN THEIR COMMUNITIES, AND IN THEIR CHURCHES. OUR PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION IS BASED ON THE CLASSICAL TRIVIUM, EQUIPPING STUDENTS IN DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE WAYS FOR LIFELONG LEARNING. WE DO THIS THROUGH A CHRIST-CENTERED CURRICULUM THAT REVEALS THE SPECIFIC AND GENERAL REVELATION OF GOD. THIS YEAR, PCA HAS AGAIN BEEN RECOGNIZED BY NICHE.COM AS THE BEST PRIVATE K-12 SCHOOL IN NEW HAMPSHIRE FOR FOUR YEARS IN A ROW.WITH OVER 40 YEARS AS A SCHOOL, PCA REMAINS COMMITTED TO ITS VISION OF DEVELOPING CHRIST-CENTERED GRADUATES WHO IMPACT THE WORLD FOR GOOD. UNDERGIRDING OUR VISION ARE PCA'S CORE VALUES OF CHRIST-CENTEREDNESS, EXCELLENCE, BIBLICAL INTEGRITY, COMPASSIONATE COMMUNITY, CURIOSITY, HUMILITY, AND JOY. OUR PROGRAMS ARE PROVEN, AS PCA IS ACCREDITED BY BOTH THE ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL (ACSI) AND THE NEW ENGLAND ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES (NEASC). OUR STAFF PURSUES EXCELLENCE THEMSELVES, AS 55% OF PCA'S FACULTY HOLD ADVANCED DEGREES.OUR LOCATION SUPPORTS OUR CALL TO STEWARD GOD'S CREATION, AS WE ARE SITUATED ON NEARLY 50 ACRES ALONG THE BELLAMY RIVER IN DOVER. OUR PROGRAMS ARE BROAD AND WIDE-RANGING, INCLUDING WELL-PLANNED AND RESOURCED CLASSROOMS, WATERFRONT LEARNING LABS, AS WELL AS RICH AND LIVELY VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS. PCA STUDENTS MAY PARTICIPATE ON ONE OR MORE OF OUR 25 ATHLETIC TEAMS AND MORE THAN 30 CLUBS AND EXTRACURRICULAR OFFERINGS. AS AN ACADEMY, PCA DEVELOPS ITS STUDENTS IN MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT, WITH OVER 1000 GRADUATES. IT IS WELL-POISED TO CONTINUE PREPARING ITS NEXT 1000 GRADUATES TO LIVE CHRIST-CENTERED LIVES AND GO OUT AND IMPACT GOD'S WORLD FOR GOOD.
