THE ORGANIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1946 TO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE TO, AND FOSTER CLOSER COOPERATION AMONG, SCHOOL BOARDS AND SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS WITHIN THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE, AS WELL AS PROVIDING INFORMATION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT PUBLIC EDUCATION.

THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND PUBLISHES INFORMATION RELEVANT TO THE PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM ON BEHALF OF AND FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS. APPROXIMATELY 500 PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATORS TOOK PART IN SEMINARS, CONFERENCES AND SPECIAL EDUCATION SESSIONS CONDUCTED BY THE ASSOCIATION DURING THE YEAR.
