WE ARE CARING PARENTS OFFERING HOPE THROUGH RESOURCES, EDUCATION, AND SHARED EXPERIENCE. OUR GOAL IS EMPOWERING PARENTS TO EXCHANGE THE CHAOS THAT ADDICTION BRINGS FOR PEACE, AS THEY LEARN TOOLS TO SUPPORT RECOVERY.

MISSION: PARENTS HELPING PARENTS, INC. PROMOTES FAMILY RECOVERY FROM SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER IN A LOVED ONE THROUGH CHAPTER ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT BY OFFERING HOPE, RESOURCES, EDUCATION AND SHARED EXPERIENCE. RENEW YOU-PHP HOSTED OUR SECOND ANNUAL RENEW YOU ONLINE SERIES WITH APPROXIMATELY 200 REGISTERED. THIS LIMITED SERIES FEATURED TOPICS INCLUDING STIGMA, THE FAMILY EFFECT, GRIEF, AND HOPE, ONCE EVERY WEEK FOR A MONTH. CBHN-PHP CONTINUES TO PLAN AND WORK WITH OUR CHILDREN'S BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NETWORK PARTNERS. WE JOINED OUR PARTNERS TO HOST ANOTHER VIRTUAL CONFERENCE PROVIDING SPEAKERS AND FUNDING. CO-HOSTED OKLAHOMA'S FIRST NATIONAL FEDERATION OF FAMILIES CONFERENCE. PHP IS ONE OF ONLY TWO STATE AFFILIATES FOR THE NATIONAL FAMILY FEDERATIONS OF FAMILIES, AND WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE TO SERVE AS A CO-HOST FOR THEIR FIRST 4-DAY NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN OKLAHOMA. 755 PEOPLE FROM 42 STATES ATTENDED. STARTED A ROUNDTABLE FOR PARTNERS-WE PARTNERED WITH THE OKLAHOMA DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES (ODMHSAS) TO CREATE A ROUNDTABLE WITH OUR PARTNERS. THIS GROUP IS CURRENTLY WORKING TO SET UP PRIORITIES CONCERNING SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS. ATTENDANCE FOR THESE ROUNDTABLE MEETINGS INCLUDES 10 TO 15 PARTICIPANTS. OUR PARTNERS INCLUDE PEACEFUL FAMILY OKLAHOMA, TEEN RECOVERY SOLUTIONS, SANTA FE SOUTHWEST, ODMHSAS, OMMA, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM OTHER STATE AGENCIES AND ORGANIZATIONS. WE ALSO CONTINUE TO SERVE ON LOCAL AND STATE ADVISORY TEAMS AND COMMITTEES. WE'VE GONE TOTALLY VIRTUAL. TO MEET THE NEEDS OF PARENTS AND LOVED ONES OF CHILDREN WHO STRUGGLE WITH SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER (SUD), PARENTS HELPING PARENTS HAS GONE VIRTUAL. THIS MEANS WE CAN ENSURE THAT ANY PARENT OR LOVED ONE OR CAREGIVER CAN SHARE WITH OTHERS, LISTEN TO SPEAKERS, AND KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT ALONE IN THEIR JOURNEY. OUR LIVE STREAMED MEETINGS CONTINUE TO HAVE STRONG OUTREACH NUMBERS, WITH 22,756 VIEWERS WHO EITHER WATCHED LIVE OR VIEWED MEETING PRESENTATIONS AT A TIME THAT'S CONVENIENT FOR THEM. ADDED PARTNERS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES. PHP AGGRESSIVELY PURSUED PARTNERS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES. OUR GOAL WAS TO ADD 4 NEW RURAL PARTNERS. WE SUCCEEDED BUT SHORTLY LOST ONE COMMUNITY WITHOUT A CONVERSATION ABOUT PROBLEMS OR SOLUTIONS. WE DO HOLD REGULARLY SCHEDULED PARTNER MEETINGS TO DISCUSS WHAT'S WORKING AND WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED. THIS FISCAL YEAR WILL BE THE FIRST TIME A PHP BOARD HAS ELECTED A PRESIDENT OUTSIDE OF THE OKC METRO AREA. EXHIBITORS AT SEVERAL EVENTS. WE PARTICIPATED AS EXHIBITORS AT SEVERAL EVENTS INCLUDING THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF FAMILIES CONFERENCE WHICH INCLUDED 755 ATTENDEES. THE PHP BOARD AND STAFF HELD OUR ANNUAL BOARD RETREAT. SOCIAL MEDIA AUDIENCES HAVE SOARED TO NEW HEIGHTS. - FACEBOOK PAGE REACHED 81,111 PEOPLE THIS YEAR (32% INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR) - 6,982 PEOPLE VISITED OUR FACEBOOK PROFILE (131% INCREASE) - 334 NEW PEOPLE LIKED OUR FACEBOOK PAGE THIS YEAR - INSTAGRAM PAGE REACHED 843 PEOPLE THIS YEAR (97% INCREASE OVER LAST YEAR) - 109 NEW PEOPLE FOLLOWED US ON INSTAGRAM THIS YEAR - 357 PEOPLE VISITED OUR INSTAGRAM PROFILE (417% INCREASE) - PAID REACH ON FACEBOOK: 22,044 ADDITIONAL PEOPLE
