IN 2023, OUR CLINIC SERVED OVER 34,000 PATIENTS INCLUDING INPATIENTS AND OUTPATIENTS. WE HAVE PROVIDED FUNDING FOR RENT, HEALTH INSURANCE FOR THE FOUNDER, OVER $5,300 FOR CAPITAL EQUIPMENT, AND $25,000 TO FUND THE SAFE MOTHERHOOD BUSONGORA PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, WE HAVE PROVIDED OVER $500,000 TO PURCHASE THE NEW SITE AND BEGIN BUILDING THE NEW CLINIC. WE HAVE SUPPORTED THE EDUCATION OF 199 ORPHANS AND OTHER VULNERABLE CHILDREN FROM PRIMARY SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY. 15 OF THOSE STUDENTS WILL GRADUATE IN THE COMING YEAR. ADDITIONALLY, WE COMPLETED PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE DENTAL TRAINING FOR A CLINICAL OFFICER AND RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY TRAINING FOR THE FORMER CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER. WE BEGAN A NEW POSTGRADUATE PHYSICIAN TRAINING PROGRAM THAT WILL HELP US RETAIN OUR PHYSICIANS. FINALLY, WE ARE POISED TO EXPAND TO THE NEW SITE BEING CONSTRUCTED NEAR THE RENTED FACILITIES. WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER WITH ALL GROUPS WHO SHARE OUR GOALS AND WORK TO EDUCATE MORE DISPLACED ORPHANS AND VULNERABLE CHILDREN IN UGANDA AND OTHER COUNTRIES IN AFRICA.
