THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION, THROUGH THE GENEROSITY OF DONORS AND CORPORATE PARTNERS, PAST AND PRESENT, FUNDS APPROXIMATELY 3,300 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA AND THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY EACH YEAR IN RESPONSE TO EVER-CHANGING DEMOGRAPHICS AND NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITIES. AS A FUNDER AND CIVIC LEADER, THE FOUNDATION'S CHALLENGE IS TO ENSURE THAT EVERYONE IN THE BAY AREA CAN THRIVE AND REACH THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
