THE ACADEMY OPERATES A PRIVATE DAY SCHOOL IN YARMOUTH, MAINE WITH APPROXIMATELY 380 STUDENTS FROM TODDLER THROUGH TWELFTH GRADE.THE NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAM ENCOURAGES STUDENTS TO DEVELOP:1. PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS BASED ON SOUND ANALYTICAL AND CREATIVE THOUGHT2. SOPHISTICATION IN WRITING, SPEAKING AND ARTISTIC EXPRESSION3. APPRECIATION FOR THE IMPORTANCE OF ATHLETIC ACTIVITY, TEAMWORK AND COOPERATION4. SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SELF-RESPECT THROUGH A BREADTH OF EXPERIENCES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE CLASSROOM5.
