IN ADDITION TO FURTHERING THESE CHARITABLE PURPOSES, THE FOUNDATION WAS ESTABLISHED FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSOLIDATING THE CHARITABLE GIVING OF ORRICK'S PARTNERSAND EMPLOYEES. THE CONSOLIDATION OF THESE CHARITABLE GIVING ACTIVITIES INTO A SINGLEFOUNDATION IS INTENDED BOTH TO ENCOURAGE THE MAKING OF FURTHER CHARITABLE GIFTS BY THESEINDIVIDUALS AND TO ALLOW THE RECIPIENTS OF SUCH GRANTS TO RECOGNIZE THE AGGREGATE GIFTSRECEIVED FROM ALL PARTNERS AND EMPLOYEES AT ORRICK.
