MISSION:

THE VISION OF THE BELOIT HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS TO MAKE HISTORY A FOCAL POINT OF COMMUNITY PRIDE AND TO SERVE AS A CONSTANT REMINDER TO THE COMMUNITY OF ITS GREAT AND DIVERSE HERITAGE. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED BY COLLECTING AND SHARING HISTORIC RECORDS AND OBJECTS THROUGH A VARIETY OF METHODS INCLUDING EXHIBITIONS, PROGRAMMING, THE BHS WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTER.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

THE BENEVOLENT PURPOSE OF BELOIT ASSISTED LIVING, INC. IS TO PROVIDE ELDERLY PERSONS & HANDICAPPED PERSONS WITH HOUSING FACILITIES & SERVICES SPECIALLY DESIGNED TO MEET THEIR PHYSICAL, SOCIAL & PSYCHOLOGICAL NEEDS & TO PROMOTE THEIR HEALTH, SECURITY, HAPPINESS, & USEFULNESS IN LONGER LIVING.

TRANSFORM LIVES AND COMMUNITIES BY ADVOCATING FOR AND EMPOWERING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TO MAKE INFORMED HOUSING CHOICES.

BELOIT MEALS ON WHEELS SEEKS TO NOURISH AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF HOMEBOUND SENIORS TO PROMOTE DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENT LIVING.

THE BELOIT PUBLIC LIBRARY FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO RAISE AND PROVIDE SUPPORT MONIES FOR THE BELOIT PUBLIC LIBRARY.

EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF THE BROWN SWISS DAIRY BREED. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES REGISTRATION, PERFORMANCE ACCREDITATION AND OTHER SERVICES TO BREEDERS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THIS BREED OF CATTLE. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS NATIONAL SHOWS AND EXHIBITIONS TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC ABOUT THE QUALITY OF BROWN SWISS MILK AND MILK PRODUCTS.

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP IN ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION BY EQUITABLY ENGAGING THE DIVERSE RESIDENTS OF THE STATELINE REGION WITH ACTIVITIES THAT FOSTER AN APPRECIATION OF NATURE & PROMOTE ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP

CARITAS ASSISTS FAMILIES IN NEED OF FOOD, CHILDREN'S CLOTHING, DIAPERS, AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization is to enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require to meet their educational and living expenses while in school.

TEAM PHENOMENAL HOPE WAS CREATED TO BRING TOGETHER A WORLDWIDE TEAM OF INDIVIDUALS TO BUILD A COMMUNITY AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THOSE LIVING WITH PULMONARY HYPERTENSION. TO SUCCEED IN OUR MISSION, TEAM PHENOMENAL HOPE EMBODIES THE CULTURE AND SPIRIT OF ENDURANCE RACING, AND WE WORK HARD TO UNIFY PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, ATHLETES, AND OUR DONORS.
