SINCE ITS FOUNDING, THE SOCIETY HAS FAITHFULLY FULFILLED ITS MISSION OF PROTECTING, PRESERVING, AND PRESENTING THE HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT OF WINDHAM COUNTY, VERMONT, FOR THE EDUCATION AND ENLIGHTENMENT OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
