TO HELP MEMBERS OF THE SURVEYING PROFESSION WITH THEIR PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION AND WORKING ON WAYS TO IMPROVE THE LAND SURVEYING PROFESSION.

THE FOUNDATION INTENDS TO WORK WITH THE BAKERSFIELD COMMUNITY AND SCHOOLS TO SUPPORT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A COMPETITIVE SWIMMING POOL AND AQUATIC CENTER. THE FOUNDATION ALSO INTENDS TO WORK WITH THE SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO COMMUNITY TO POSSIBLY BUILD A SIMILAR SWIMMING POOL AND AQUATIC CENTER IN SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO. IN ADDITION THE FOUNDATION WILL SUPPORT BOTH THE BAKERSFIELD AND SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO COMMUNITIES AS NEEDED.

THE FOUNDATION PROVIDES GRANTS AND SPONSORSHIPS TO ORGANIZATIONS AND TO LESS-ABLED INDIVIDUALS, BOTHE PHYSICALLY AND/OR FINANCIALLY, TO ALLOW THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS RECREATIONS CENTER'S FACILITIES AS WELL AS OTHER BOARD-APPROVED PROJECTS AND EVENTS

FRIENDS OF THE SLC PUBLIC LIBRARY SUPPORTS THE LIBRARY BY SPONSORING PERIODIC USED BOOK SALES AND EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LIBRARY PROGRAMS AND TO ENCOURAGE LITERACY AND LEARNING WITHIN THE COMMUNITY.

MISSION:

THE THREE-FOLD MISSION OF RUFF HAVEN CRISIS SHERLTERING IS TO PROVIDE A TEMPORARY SAFE HAVEN FOR COMPANION ANIMALS TO KEEP PETS AND THEIR PEOPLE TOGETHER IN TIMES OF CRISIS; INCREASE PET RETENTION, AND DECREASE THE NUMBER OF NAIMALS ENTERING THE SHELTER SYSTEM. WE HELP WITH THE CRISIS SITUATIONS THAT INCLUDE HOSPITLIZATION, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, INCARCERATION, REHABILITATION, SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT, AND NATURAL DISASTERS. THIS IS THE FIRST PET RETENTION PROGRAM OF ITS KIND IN THE STATE OF UTAH. WE CREATED THIS PROGRAM BECASUE WE ARE FINDING MORE AND MORE LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND VULNERABLE POPULATIONS OFTEN AVOID THE HELP OR TREATMENT THAT THEY NEED FOR FEAR OF LOSING THEIR PET. RUFF HAVEN IS AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RUN NONPROFIT WITH NO PROFESSIONAL STAFF (EIN:85-0838808).

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
