THE MISSION OF KEYSTONE DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING SERVICES IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES, RESOURCES, SOCIAL OPPORTUNITIES, EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY FOR THE DEAF, HARD OF HEARING AND HEARING INDIVIDUALS IN BERKS AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES.

PROVIDE SAFETY AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT, INSURANCE AND TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEER FIREMAN.

OPERATE A PUBLIC LIBRARY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF SPRING AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES

TO PROMOTE VOLUNTEERISM, DEVELOP THE POTENTIAL OF WOMEN, IMPROVE COMMUNITIES THROUGH THE EFFECTIVE ACTION AND LEADERSHIP OF TRAINED VOLUNTEERS. ALSO TO DEVELOP THE ASSETS OF YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO PROVIDE GRANTS TO FAMILIES FIGHTING HIGH RISK PEDIATRIC CANCER AND SUPPORT RELATED RESEARCH

TO PROVIDE A VARIETY OF POPULAR AND INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS FOR READING, LISTENING AND VIEWING TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE BOROUGH OF WYOMISSING. AS AN EXTENSION OF THIS, THE LIBRARY WILL MAKE ITS COMMUNITY ROOM AVAILABLE TO THE CITIZENRY OF WYOMISSING FOR LECTURES, EXHIBITS, SEMINARS, AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS.

The goal of this organization is to acquire, preserve, research and exhibit collections of objects including documents, tools, implements and furnishings that have significance in helping to interpret or understand the past.

TO REMOVE OBSTACLES THAT PREVENT PEOPLE AFFECTED BY DISABILITIES FROM BEING PHYSICALLY ACTIVE

TO PROMOTE, FOSTER, AND PERPETUATE AN INTEREST IN THE GAME OF SOCCER AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE WILSON JUNIOR SOCCER CLUB (WJSC), DEVELOPING THE SKILLS AND VALUES OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION, WJSC SHALL: (I) PROVIDE SUPERVISED AND ORGANIZED SOCCER ACTIVITIES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE WJSC, (II) PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND PROMOTE THE HEALTH, SOCIAL, ATHLETIC, AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT OF THE PARTICIPATING YOUTH, AND (III) INSTILL A SPIRIT OF SPORTSMANSHIP AND FAIR PLAY AMONG ALL PARTICIPANTS, COACHES, AND PLAYERS.
