The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT THROUGH GIFTS, GRANTS, CONTRIBUTIONS OF MONEY AS WELL AS OTHER MEANS TO EXPAND THE ROLE OF MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITIES.

A WEEK AWAY FOUNDATION COORDINATES AND FINANCES RESPITE WEEKS FOR FAMILIES WHO ARE BATTLING A LIFE-THREATENING ILLNESS, WITH THE GOAL OF PROVIDING THEM THE HOPE THEY NEED TO CONTINUE FIGHTING THEIR DISEASE.

MISSION:

REPRESENT DISTRICT JUSTICES - THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHES A JOURNAL FOR IT'S MEMBERS. MEETINGS AND AN ANNUAL RECEPTION WITH STATE LEGISLATORS PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES.

MISSION:

LANCASTER-LEBANON EDUCATION FOUNDATION (LLEF) PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND OTHER SUPPORT TO ENHANCE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT BENEFIT AND IMPROVE THE LIVES OF STUDENTS OF ALL AGES WITHIN IU13 AND/OR SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN LANCASTER/LEBANON COUNTIES.

The goal of this organization is to utilize volunteers from the teaching profession, business and industry to provide firsthand information about the business world for children and youth. Some clubs may also initiate small business ventures under the guidance of adult volunteers.

LANDIS VALLEY ASSOCIATES SUPPORTS THE LANDIS VALLEY VILLAGE AND FARM MUSEUM, A LIVING HISTORY MUSEUM WHICH COLLECTS, PRESERVES, AND INTERPRETS THE HISTORY AND MATERIAL CULTURE OF THE PENNSYLVANIA GERMANS OF THE PERIOD 1740-1940.

WSHS PROVIDES FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE TO RESIDENTS OF WATER STREET MISSION AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS, INCLUDING ACCESS TO MEDICATION. ADDITIONALLY WE PROVIDE ACCESS TO SOCIAL SERVICES AND COORDINATE WITH COMMUNITY AGENCIES FOR BEHAVIORAL/MENTAL HEALTH AND ADDICTION ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT.

The goal of this organization are the membership organizations that are engaged in promoting the interests of the veterans or active or retired military personnel who are their members.

The goal of this organization is the fund-raising entity for a single institution within the Religion-Related major group area.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to support and fund-raise for single institutions, multihospital health care systems, and similar diversified health systems comprised of closely-affiliated organizations within the Health Care major group area.

MISSION:

TO SUPPORT SUCCESS-ORIENTED YOUTH FROM PRIMARILY UNDER-REPRESENTED COMMUNITIES IN THEIR PURSUIT OF ACADEMIC ACHEIVEMENT, EMPOWERMENT, AND SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT.
