THE PURPOSE OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO HELP CHILDREN LEARN TO SPEAK, READ AND WRITE BY SUPPORTING LEARNING CENTERS THROUGHOUT THE STATE USING THE SCOTTISH RITE PROGRAM AND OTHER CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES.

CAVU RECOGNIZES THE POWER THAT VISUAL STORYTELLING HAS TO AFFECT CHANGE AND BE AN ANTIDOTE TO PREJUDICE, PARTISANSHIP, AND CYNICISM WHEN WORKING ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL JUSTICE ISSUES. THIS WORK LED TO AN EMMY AND CAVU IS NOW FEATURED IN A PERMANENT EXHIBITION AT THE SMITHSONIAN'S NATIONAL AIR AND SPACE MUSEUM FOR CAVU'S USE OF FLIGHT AND FILM FOR CONSERVATION PURPOSES.

NEW MEXICANS TO PREVENT GUN VIOLENCE'S MISSION IS TO REDUCE FIREARM INJURY AND DEATH THROUGH PUBLC HEALTH, EDUCATION, ADVOCACY AND PUBLIC AWARENESS, IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE SAFETY OF OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES.
